There will be camping in the mountains, amazing rides and unforgettable views. Splitboard camps give you a unique chance to discover backcountry. In addition to the advantages of freeride, you’ll learn how to handle splitboard without any problems.
Our experienced and certified instructors will plan the routes we will follow.
They provide support at all times, but also introduce you to the basics of avalanche safety, in theory and practice.

Level 1 - getting ready to ride the Splitboard!
An introductory training module for splitboard activities. Designed for everyone who rides a snowboard or is new to backcountry. Our instructors will devote maximum attention to you so that you can make significant progress both practical and theoretical.
What will you learn?
How to use backcountry tools: detector, probe, shovel.
How to effectively use and introduce changes in equipment: splitboard, seals, sticks.
How to take care of safety in the mountains.
You will know the hazards in the mountain area.
How to pick the perfect rope.
How to properly access an avalanche situation.
You will learn tips on climbing and descending + Training
Level 2 - pro Splitboard
Aimed at riders who already have their beginnings behind, but would like to enrich their skills of safe operation in the mountains. Planned practical activities will help you in your future activities on the glacier. In addition, you will learn how to look after yourself and your group. You will also focus on avalanche threats and stress exposure.
What will you learn?
How to read maps and plan trips.
How to choose a line in the high mountains, gullies.
The use of visualization during the approach.
Safety in the mountains.
Assessment of avalanche risk and avalanche situation.
Glacier activities - approach, descend, route control.
Practical tips on approaches and descents.

We recommend buying insurance. Must have a winter sports increase including off-road driving and OC Sport. This can be done via PROGRES SNB (in advance!). Or with the selected insurer on your own.
This type of insurance is mandatory and verified by SNB PROGRESS before taking action in the mountains. Participant of SPLITBOARD Camp without the above insurance will not be allowed to operate in the mountains .
